Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, was let out of prison twenty minutes after he turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail. Trump was charged on the attempt to overturn the 2020 election.
According to Fox News, Trump was fingerprinted and required to take a mugshot when he got to jail. Donald Trump is now the first ever United States President to ever have a mugshot.
Eighteen of Trump’s allies were also arrested under multiple allegations, such as forging documents, filing false data, and violation of oath. This is the fourth indictment Donald Trump has experienced since he lost the election in November of 2020.
Former President Trump is still running for reelection in 2024. He is up by a massive margin in the polls.
