The Biden Admin “Strongly Opposes” Merit Based Military Awards

In a statement by the Office of Management and Budget, the Biden administration said that it “strongly opposes” merit-based awards and would rather give awards based on race and gender.

The official statement said this, “The Administration strongly opposes the House’s sweeping attempts (sections 364, 523, 566, 595, 596, 598, 904, and 1046) to eliminate the Department’s longstanding DEIA efforts and related initiatives to promote a cohesive and inclusive force”.

How does giving awards based on race and gender make any sense. The Democrats claim that the right is racist, however they seem to make everything about race and gender.

With something as important as our nation’s security, why would it matter what race or gender you are. It should be focused on hiring the most qualified candidates for the job, not just hiring minorities because it looks good for when the elections come around.
