Ron DeSantis Announces Presidential Run

Florida Governor, Ron Desantis, has officially announced that he will be running for President in 2024. He did this on a Twitter Spaces with Elon Musk.

“I’m running for president to lead our Great American Comeback” DeSantis said in a tweet.

This announcement was met with mixed reactions, with some supporting the decision and some against it.

According to DeSantis’s Press Secretary however, the DeSantis campaign raised over $1 million in the first hour after the announcement.

Immediately after the announcement, former President Trump, who is also DeSantis’s biggest competition, made a video mocking DeSantis’s announcement. Many also mocked the fact that DeSantis’s announcement speech crashed because of the amount of people on the stream.

As the election starts edging closer, it will be impossible to know who will come out on top.
