Israeli Shooting Kills American

A twenty-seven-year-old man who lives in Connecticut was shot dead during an ambush in Israel. He was reportedly killed in the West Bank of Israel. The attack was quick, as the attackers pulled up by car and shot the Israeli American man.

There was also another shooting soon after. However, thankfully no one was shot or injured. The man who was killed was named Elan Ganelas. Ganelas’s death was reportedly extremely harsh and brutal. Ganelas was a former sergeant in the Israeli Defense Force. His funeral will be in Israel.

Two more Israelis had been shot dead on the same day, which had caused protests and rioting. Many were injured during this and one Palestinian also had died. Who knows if this will just continue to raise the tensions even further between Israel and Palestine.
