Gas Prices Hit 8 Month High

Gas prices rose again and are now at their highest in 8 months. The current national average is $3.73 per gallon of regular.
Since President Biden took office and began aggressively promoting green energy policies, gas prices have soared. President Biden has not invested in the exploration and development of petroleum sites within the United States.
Though the gas prices have not hit the incredibly higher prices of last year, they still have room to rise. Gas is used in so many parts of everyday life and its demand continues to grow as time goes on.
When former President Trump left office the nation average was $2.39 per gallon. At various times since President Biden’s first day in office, gas prices have more than doubled from the average under Trump.
