Disneyland Set To Host First “Pride Nite” For LGBTQ+ Community

Disney has announced that they will be having a “Pride Nite” celebration for the LGBTQ+ community at their Disneyland Park in California.

“The first-ever Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite is coming to @Disneyland during Pride Month in June” a statement from Disney said. “This separately ticketed event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community & allies will have themed entertainment, Disney characters, specialty menu items & more”.

This announcement sparked outrage on Twitter with many calling for a boycott of Disney products and services.

Disney has also been in a downward spiral financially with the stock dropping almost 50% in the last two years, and their last two movies have lost more than $250 million.

This is also happening as the Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis is currently in a dispute with Disney World. DeSantis is claiming that Disney has too much power in Florida.
